Remedial Massage

All massage treatments are remedial treatments which are a combination of techniques to ease tension and pain. Remedial Massage provides health benefits by increasing circulation, increasing the movements of joints, stimulating your damaged tissues to help them repair and by relaxing your body. It can help relieve problems such as sports injuries, muscle cramps, and neck, shoulder and back pain.
Fire Cupping

Cupping therapy has been used for centuries across the different continents for healing. Fire cupping therapy involves the using of warm suction glass jars on an oiled body as a therapeutic massage system, designed to treat a wide range of physical problems from pain and muscle spasms to cellulite, colds and flu.
Oil is applied to the body with massage strokes to loosen up the tissue; the cups are then applied over the oil on the part of the body to be treated, then the cups are moved in particular ways to produce a hot deeply healing, stimulating and drawing massage.
The cups are warmed and applied to the body by creating a vacuum. The suction and warmth have a dramatic effect on the immune system of the body by moving blood and lymph and stimulating the muscle and spinal nerves. This treatment causes the visual cupping marks which are often seen on the backs of sports people, contrary to some beliefs these are not bruises and generally disappear within 7 days.
Acupuncture

Laura uses Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, utilising the best and most commonly used Acupuncture Points, and Traditional Chinese Medicine Theories of Yin and Yang, the Zang Fu and the 5 Elements.
Fine needles are inserted at certain sites in the body, this then stimulates the sensory nerves under the skin and in the muscles. Acupuncture can help or treat a wide range of health conditions.
A course of acupuncture is usually recommended because it can take a few sessions for you to see long term improvements.
Auricular Acupuncture
Auricular Acupuncture Treatment - 20 - 45 minutes (assessed at the time of treatment)
Auricular acupuncture is a microsystem of acupuncture in which the whole body is represented in the ear. We can stimulate points in the ear to treat the entire body. It can be used in combination with body acupuncture, cupping, massage or on it's own as a separate treatment.
There are over 200 acupuncture points located on the ear and when stimulated Qi is moved around the body to bring about balance and aiding the body's natural healing ability.
Reflexology

Michelle is a fully qualified Reflexologist, qualifying from from East Coat Reflexology School. She has been practising since 2015.
There is a wide range of problems where reflexology can be very beneficial including stress, digestive problems, insomnia, circulatory issues, back, neck and shoulder problems, hormonal disorders, fertility to name just a few.
Reflexology empowers the receiver to learn to heal, to work through grief or any personal difficulties and find a new vigour and strength which is so easily depleted in our modern stressful lives.
NEW for 2024, Ear seeds are tiny seeds from the Vaccaria plant that have been dipped in rice wine to preserve. Theses are then placed on a clear hypo-allergenic plaster on points of the ear that are relevant to your needs. The seeds can be amazingly effective between treatments.
